Does collecting timber and agricultural biomass, drying it, condensing it into blocks, and storing it underground count as carbon removal? I suppose it is preventing CO2 emissions from decomposition, but it doesn't feel equivalent to DAC or other high-quality offsets.

I love me a good Sankey diagram, but I have to admit I'm not used to seeing them with dollars. I thought there would be more dollars flowing to nature-based solutions.
