Sat outside the dentists to try and get an emergency appointment. The online info said it opened at 8.30 alas that is 9am!

Hello Monday - Did you have a good weekend? I finished piecing a quilt and sorted out backing, wadding (wool) and binding. Off to the longermers next. I am so excited to get this one on my bed.

My next cinema trip will be to see Captain America: Brave New World on 14th with my 19 year old. You can tell the difference in my kids by their movie choices. I love going with them as I get great one-to-one time.

I went to the cinema with my 18-year-old on Friday night and watched A COmplete Unknow and we were both blown away by it, loved it.

As someone who suffers from SAD, I have actively tried to improve my winter mindset this year and it seems to be working. This is what I am focusing on, it's not a magic pill, but we are lucky to live in a country with seasons.

I have deactivated and removed my account from the other place. No amount of earnings from it justifies using it. I guess Meta apps will be next

As a 50-year-old mum to two older lads and a mid-life husband, I finally understand what my mum meant with her response when I asked what she was doing - she would look at me and say "Planning my escape to the circus".

I keep seeing "Credit: Respect to the owner" on Facebook and Instagram. Since when does this mean you can steal people's images and use them without credit?
What with AI, bots, Google, algorithms and now this - it feels like there is no future in content creating.
