Heart was great last night. Ann Wilson is amazing. She's still belting them out like it's 1975/85. Seeing them from the second row in the pit at the Altria was incredible. They were 20 feet away from us. www.instagram.com/p/DSZPRX5jc-Q/

Why would you design rain boots with slick soles?

The vet had a slot open up this afternoon, so I'm taking Zoey, Oliver, and Nigel today instead of just the first two. Pray for me.

Why is Reddit trying to sell me tattooists' tools? I don't even have a tattoo myself!

Cats are useful for testing 3D tracking and practicing action shots.

Tiny isn't as fancy as The Beast, but it's really good for a compact camera.

That tiny camera I bought (Sony RX100vii) - the one I call Tiny.... The font and icons on it are small enough that I need reading glasses. Good news is glasses fit into Tiny's case. Fonts and icons on The Beast (Nikon Z5ii) are legible. I think Nikon knows a lot of old people use their cameras.💀

No research is perfect, but you cannot accurately assess obesity-related cancer risk related to use of a drug if your follow-up time is 1.5 years.

I will not buy a Z8. I will not buy a Z8. I will not buy a Z8. I will not buy a Z8. I will not buy a Z8.

Apparently NAND flash memory prices are expected to increase too. Just ordered a memory card for my camera and a portable SSD.

Prices are crazy, but we've ordered the RAM and SSD for my new computer.

I'm not an MD, and I can't always tell you the details of medical tests, but I had two MRIs last year (both good results!) and know which body parts were being scanned. And I didn't need my MD husband to tell me. Just sayin'.

Automatic 3-day ban on Reddit because their AI review sucks and misunderstood my comment. Well, I'll likely get more done in the next few days....

Things like the DC National Guard shootings bring out the worst of my paranoia. Does anyone really believe Stephen Miller wouldn't sacrifice a few members of the NG to stop another group of brown people from coming to the US? They probably didn't do it, but they would have no qualms with doing it.

I asked Gemini to summarize the merits of AGI vs specialized AIs, then asked for it in plain English. The summary was fine, but the plain English title: The Teleological Divergence: A Comprehensive Analysis of the Strategic Imperatives for Artificial General Intelligence versus Specialized Systems😆

I didn't get a great shot of it because we were on the road, but later I was able to see almost the entire arch in vivid colors. I was pretty cool against the dark clouds.
