Looking for book recs for a 10 year old boy who reads above his age. Preferably standalone books, he's already in the middle of several series. He loves fantasy & mystery.

Why is picking your next book to read so hard? I have numerous unread books spanning a variety of genres. But making the choice feels way more monumental than it should. So I sit here in my indecision.

I've always been a big library supporter, but never knew how beneficial it would be to my life until my son became an avid reader. He's going through a chapter book every 3 or so days. There's no way I could financially support that! Also bonus for them having Switch games to check out.
