My husband and I are going to have a date weekend of sorts. We are going to the movie theatre to watch the extended editions of the Lord of the Rings movies starting tonight.

Sunday - The Return of the King

My journal finally arrived on Saturday and I have been working hard on some reading journal spreads. This is my first reading journal. 👉👈 A lot of inspiration came from Pinterest. There are some other spreads that aren't quite complete as I ran out of some letter stickers.

My favorite genres are Romantasy and Young Adult. I use reading as escapism so I don't want to read anything to serious or negative.
Romantasy gives the best of both worlds of losing myself in a fantasy fictional world and romance. They usually make me smile, giggle, and kick my feet. 🥰

Next read for me is Anne of Green Gables by LM Montgomery. I remember watching the movie adaptation a few times when I was a kid and loved it. Also enjoyed watching Road to Avonlea based on her books. ❤️
