Lifelong learner.
Teacher.
Wife.
Mom.
The LEARNS act is allowing our tax dollars to pay for Christmas gifts for homeschoolers.
This is absolutely unbelievable.
And I homeschool!
*I blacked out names bc these homeschool parents are doing anything wrong. The system is set up to let them blow through tax money. The system is broken.

Y’all.
It is ALL projecting.
When a party is so corrupt that the entire party can blackmail each other.

If you’re looking for doom posting about things, I’m not your guy. It’s bad, but I’ve spent my life dusting myself off and getting back to work. We don’t have the luxury to throw our hands in the air and let things collapse. I’m working to organize and fight against the horror show coming. Let’s go!

Remember: fascism thrives on apathy.

The autocrats want you to tune out. They want to overwhelm you. They want you to give up.

Don’t give them want they want.

Stay in this fight. Remain vigilant. And let’s keep building.

RFK Jr. says he wants to "make America healthy again."

So he's doing that by buddying up with the man who cut environmental protections, gutted food safety laws, and rolled back regulations on dangerous chemicals?

Do we have this right?

Stephen King, master of the horror novel, just quit Twitter because it'd become too "dark."

That's how horrifying Twitter is right now.

There may never be a more perfect expression of this fact.

Watching all these appointments roll in, I’m realizing I have gravely underestimated myself. We all have. I can’t drive a stick shift but I’ve ridden in a plane, train, and lots of different automobiles. Surely that qualifies me for Secretary of Transportation. What else is left?

Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism.

We have to sustain each other. Making joy isn’t denial, it’s how we will survive
