SpaceX launched the NROL-77 mission from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Falcon 9 booster B1096 completed its third flight, landing at Landing Zone 2.

Blue Origin teams are installing the lifting cap on the New Glenn booster in preparation for offloading it from the barge, after which it will be moved to the breakover fixture for a controlled transition to a horizontal orientation before the transporter positions itself beneath the vehicle.

After a successful liftoff of New Glenn on Nov. 13, the first-stage booster is on its way back to Port. According to Blue Origin, arrival is expected on Tue.

This is a short video compiled from over 120 photos taken by my remote camera, which was just under a mile from the pad.

After a weather delay during its first launch attempt, Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket is now scheduled for tomorrow, with a launch window from 2:50 p.m. to 4:17 p.m. ET. Weather conditions have improved, although forecasts for the offshore landing remain less favorable.

Remote cameras are being set up ahead of the second New Glenn launch, which is carrying ESCAPADE, a mission to study Mars’ magnetosphere. The 146-minute launch window opens tomorrow at 2:45 p.m. ET, and the weather is currently 60% GO for launch.

At 35 minutes before liftoff, SpaceX begins loading RP1 and liquid oxygen (LOX) into the Falcon 9 first stage. As the supercooled oxidizer flows in, frost slowly climbs the side of the rocket, and thanks to the sooty surface, you can actually watch the tank fill from the outside. Sound on! 🔊
