Started to write my To Do list when a bottle of juice on my desk I had just pulled out of the fridge emitted a freakishly loud POP sound - making me jump out of my skin mid-word. So I’ll be over here “clem”ing my desk instead of ‘cleaning’ lol.

Wren demanded my shoulder for sleeping during work so I had to prop her butt up with my knee to keep her in place while writing.

Sandy & her squad like to smack the bird feeders around to dump the seeds out for easy pickins. Jerks. Cute, smart jerks, but still.

Whenever the husbando @truetiljeff.bsky.social goes on trips I always ask him to bring me back a ‘surprise’. I never specify & leave it up to him. Figured I’d show the kinds of things I get - specifically from his two latest trips. 😹 💕

I got myself a tea advent calendar. Day 1 is chocolate truffle which was a bummer. I’m not a fan of chocolate in general (especially not so in tea form) but it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting it to be so I’ll give it that. Hoping there aren’t any more chocolate flavors in here. 😬

Did a bulk of the cooking (7 hrs worth..) today so I’m not fighting for cooking/prepping space tomorrow at my mom’s.

I love pulling out all my fun dishes.

As soon as we moved into our new place, the house across from us got torn down & now construction has commenced. It’s so loud. This will be going all winter. 😾

This morning they’re having to blast some giant rocks underground so there’s giant ‘booms’ & everything shakes. My animals are quite upset.

And just so I have more than just a single introductory post on here - peep the adorable nuthatch I captured flitting about my feeder a couple days ago.
