I really wish the government would quit sending me reminders. I KNOW my 2026 premium will be 4.66 times higher than this year’s. There’ll also be an increased max OOP, and no benefits increase.

I planned to attend the Cathedral of Mother Nature today, but a cold and wet hike wasn’t inviting. My mom and I went for a drive instead. I’ll do the hiking and photography in a couple days instead. The fall foliage will be better anyway.

Occurs to me that Trump's entire regime consolidation strategy is to persuade everyone through displays of force that the regime is already consolidated and there's no point in resisting. Which I don't think will work, but also shows how important public acts of noncompliance are.

I’ve emailed Senator Marsha Blackburn multiple times in the past few months. Her email responses periodically include subjects I’ve NEVER contacted her on. I guess her staff sends them so she can claim she’s “responsive” to constituents. Do better, Marsha!
