Richmond Times-Dispatch published my OpEd calling out Virginia AG, Jason Miyares who claims to support domestic violence victims. In contrast, he does not protect them. Miyares talks a good game. Words are cheap. Look at his actions.

A few days ago, I participated in Food & Resource with Cornerstones, Feed the Children, and Popeyes Foundation. September recognizes Hunger Action month. We know many of our neighbors are facing food insecurity. Thanks to the volunteers and staff who are doing such meaningful work in the society!

Federal government is in shutdown. It is not accidental. It's a deliberate strategy to take resources away from working families to give to the wealthy.
Republicans would rather shut down government than provide for Americans who desperately need access to affordable healthcare.
