Potent, powerful piece from @anatosaurus.bsky.social. "Polling has become the party’s stand in for position-taking." Public polling shifts how they talk to us. Public action creates policy change (even at small margins!). Great read to keep the fire in the belly alive, to keep showing up!
Daily we're treated to news reporting that X% of Americans approve on Y when we know that public opinion has no correlation to public policy.
