It might be worth having a look around to see what Zack and other Greens have said about NATO. Keir Starmer is, predictably, misrepresenting the Green Party position(s).
February 14, 2026 at 12:45 AM
Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own separate Green parties!

Wales and England share the same party, but the Welsh part is devolved and autonomous.

Zack is coming from an anglo-centric position because that's the part of the Green movement he represents.

What common ground is there to be had, exactly?
February 14, 2026 at 12:34 AM
Well that's pathetic
February 13, 2026 at 8:09 PM
@greenparty.org.uk it would be great to have an official response from the Greens on how irredeemably evil this guidance is, and the way in which the media is presenting it.

The Guardian is describing the persecution of children like it's a dull office memo. This is the banality of evil in action.

jesus christ. Nazi persecution of children presented in the tone of a maths textbook. real banality of evil shit
February 13, 2026 at 7:56 PM
Let me start with a "fuck you".

The Cass Review is almost universally condemned as absolute nonsense. Anything based on it is utter fantasy.

We know that preventing trans kids from transitioning results in deaths by suicide.

This is the systemic persecution of minority group children. Nazi shit.

isnt that the nazi guy
February 13, 2026 at 7:14 PM
yessss, this is the way. I hope you've got deep pockets.
February 13, 2026 at 6:13 PM
It's rather poor taste to describe "massive corruption linked directly to a network of paedophiles" as a "storm brewing"

Should children be made to work in the mines during the summer holidays? Experts suggest the impact on growth could be substantial.

Yeah, and I think it's important to recognise that anger and use it to build solidarity with each other.

There will always be bad actors out there trying to turn anger toward "those immigrants coming over here taking our jobs" etc, and that only benefits the powerful. We can build something better.

Not to be messy in public but there may have been a tear or two at that point. A++++
And perhaps most importantly,

5) Trek is about us, in the future. It has a legacy of people seeing themselves, in the future. Any concern about realism comes a distant, distant second to "I want someone to see themselves."

"I promise you, you'll still exist in the future. You're coming with us."

"Things are so terrible that no one will notice our crimes"

cool and normal

By 'opportunities for the young' they mean forcing young people into bad paying jobs with bad conditions, even if they're not able to do those jobs due to disability or poor mental health.

It's all part of the same Growth™ machine: making life harder for everyone to increase profits.
February 13, 2026 at 2:51 PM
Absolutely
February 13, 2026 at 2:48 PM
I'm so tired of these cunts 'resetting' to exactly the same thing they were already doing.
February 13, 2026 at 1:51 PM
To be clear, I still think those Legitimate Concerns™ people are extremely dangerous!
February 13, 2026 at 1:17 PM
I think the really virulent 'gender critical' transphobes are actually quite uncommon; they work hard to astroturf a larger movement. We seem to see a lot more Legitimate Concerns™ people who've been radicalised by the propagandising.

But I'm not trans, so others may have a more useful perspective.

When folks talked about a sinister conspiracy of monsters in a dark room controlling the world I used to be like, hang on. It's just lots of rich and powerful people without morals using the same capitalist rulebook independently. Corporate oligarchy.

But I guess it can be both, which is, urgh.

Hopefully I've siphoned off the worst of the snow already lol
February 13, 2026 at 11:25 AM
Yeah, I think my desperation for the end of winter may have overruled my objectivity just a little 😅
February 13, 2026 at 11:05 AM
Yeah...

I guess at least she's asking rather than just accepting it completely uncritically?
