Here's another one being weird and flowering at midwinter.
This is a wall speedwell (or possibly several) that I rescued from the trackway a few months ago. Weirdly, it's never looked happier!
The tiny blue-white ovals are the flowers, and the yellow heart-shaped thing in the middle is a seedpod.

Amazing what a bit of shelter can do. This sowthistle thing is pretty tough, but considering it's on a north facing beach in the middle of December it's doing really well.

I just managed to tip a whole box of carefully sorted tiny components (rawlplugs etc) onto a rough concrete floor in a poorly lit shed, and they've gone everywhere.
