Good news, the Gov has signed my legislation (SB 19) requiring Univ. regents and Community College governing boards to receive 10 hours of training from the Higher Ed dept. on budgeting, ethics and transparency laws, resources for student success, and governance best practices. #nmleg

Governor Luján Grisham has the opportunity to sign historic transparency legislation into law requiring the full disclosure of all lobbying activity. This legislation would strengthen our democracy and empower good decision making. We need to put people first. #nmleg

Will this be the year the legislature finally enacts full disclosure of all lobbying? We're getting closer! Hb 143, requiring lobbyists and their employers to report all bills they lobby on, passed the House Judiciary Comm. and now heads to the full House for a vote. #nmleg @sarahsilva.bsky.social
