Celtics, NBA, and other stuff in between

🇵🇭
The Celtics' next games are against the Nets, the Magic, and the Pistons - all at home. If the Celtics win two of those matchups, they'll be 10-8, which could put them a game or less behind the 6th seed.

It took 3 quarters of mediocre basketball and 1 quarter of inspired basketball for the Celtics to show that they are not allergic to having win streaks and being above .500. Exhale

8-7 ☘️

JB has 8 of the Celtics' 19 turnovers. He has to be better at taking care of the ball

The Derrick White all star dream is alive and well. May it no longer lose steam
November 19, 2025 at 2:52 AM
Derrick White, my goodness
November 19, 2025 at 2:48 AM
Huge momentum bucket from D-White after the Celtics almost built another Barclays Center with their bricks
November 19, 2025 at 2:42 AM
Oooh Queta with the keep, I see you
November 19, 2025 at 2:35 AM
D-White's defense this game has been so impactful

Good execution to deny the Nets a shot attempt. The Celtics survive the Tillman minutes with a 4-point lead
November 19, 2025 at 2:25 AM
Tillman, like Garza, barely offers any rim protection. Unlike Garza, his rebounding isn't as strong. Idk
November 19, 2025 at 2:23 AM
The passes need to be sharper. Lack of decisiveness makes it easier for the Nets to intercept

Aggressive JB >>>

Being ahead at the half is great, but the Celtics could have easily had a double-digit lead if they didn't turn the ball over. It'll surely be a point of emphasis for the second half
November 19, 2025 at 1:39 AM
Gotta stop giving the Nets free points in transition
November 19, 2025 at 1:34 AM
Another great Baylor pass wasted, sigh

Baylor's flashes of playmaking are amazing to see. Lots of potential there
November 19, 2025 at 1:15 AM
The Nets got a bit hot from 3 to start this game, but keeping them from the paint and forcing tough 3s can work.

Prior to tonight, the Nets are 27th in the league in 3P%, though they are 6th in attempts.

Thank you, Sam. Great extra pass from Simons

Sam, please

The Nets have a lot of length, and it’s already bothering the Celtics early in this game. They can apply lessons from the Rockets game here

Love to see another Walsh start 💚

Via the All NBA Podcast on X:

“How often team's possessions end with an opportunity to put points on the board vs. how efficient they are at putting points on the board”

The Celtics leading the NBA in those opportunities can point to 1) the turnovers they force and 2) their offensive rebounding

Nothing like waking up to a Celtics W and them getting back to .500 💚
