Today, at our Faculty Senate meeting, Senators received guidance on what to do in case ICE tries to illegally enter campus. I’m committing to that guidance to keep Federals officers off of our campus, and protecting the rights of all of my students and colleagues. I will resist.

It is abundantly clear that Christian Nationalism is an insidious disease affecting the minds and hearts of the feeble. So blinded by their hate, they can’t read the Word. So deafened by their vitriol, they can’t hear the Message. So disabled by greed and privilege, they can’t walk the Path.

Had an absolute blast working with the wind ensembles from Homestead High School and Saratoga High School. Mr. Burn and Mr. Shiuan are top shelf musicians, educators, and people. Working with their students on the music of Omar Thomas and David Maslanka was a joy, warranting my first @bluesky post!
