Ok, here's a doozy: Is the same music playing during the ceremony? If so, is it live or a recording? If it's live are the musicians like the Max Rebo band or the Jizz band from the Cantina or an entirely different aliens? Or are the ones playing are just droid that looked like instruments?

Caught the first episode on youtube and goddamn it is good. It's janky, melodramatic and has the soul of a kung fu movie (wireworks and all.) Practical effects are not half bad for it's time. They even pulled of Dhalsim's extending limbs in the most practical way possible.

Damn I love these art style. I believe this era is the height of Copic markers in Japan. To this day I still can't replicate the texture in digital.
