Architect working through the lens of #Nature-Positive Design. We are all part of a larger system.
#Biodiversity, #Biophilia, #Biomimicry, #UrbanNature, #EcosystemHealth, #Regeneration
- Architecture doesn’t just shape buildings - it shapes ecosystems.
- Every project has the potential to help heal nature.
- #Nature-Positive Design aims to regenerate natural systems at every step and scale of its process, from extraction of materials through the entire life of the project.

I’m sure most Senators understand the danger in confirming RFK Jr.

But here's the thing: conscience is a muscle. Courage is a muscle. The less you use them, the more they fade away.

If you do not draw a line somewhere, you will cross every line you could ever imagine.

From Tim Snyder’s On #Tyranny: 20 Lessons from the 20th c,” Lesson # 1: “Do not obey in advance.” Those who anticipate the demands of a #repressive government and submit to these demands before they are made, are “teaching #power what it can do.” Via NYT OpEd #StandUp #fascism

Sufficiency! What a foreign concept to our consumptive society. Yes. Less.
Being part of the UNEP conference on buildings and climate in Paris was an amazing experience. The final Minister's Declaration is a truly important document that lays out what we have to do with planning and buildings, including references to what I talked about, sufficiency.
The UNEP Conference on Buildings and Climate could make a real difference
They actually listened and came up with a serious document that puts sufficiency on the menu.
