Why was SO MUCH of the Women's 10K Pursuit (Biathlon) cut from the replay @nbcpeacock.bsky.social? I watched the first 15min of it live and intended to catch the rest on the replay, but this one has a ton cut; most feeds are the full event, which is what we want!

The Olympics giving the alpine teams' ski reports like F1 radio segments is a really cool addition. Well done.

For many Americans, the Winter Olympics can feel a world away. But access to these sports might be closer than you think.

The Post analyzed more than 2,500 training facilities for Winter Olympic sports in the U.S. See them here:

The US speed skating team has some serious skate equipment issues this season if you haven't been watching the speed skating events.

(I have not watched ANY figure skating this Olympics so far so no idea if they are also suffering similar issues; but I doubt it because the skates are so different.)

Watching the Olympics while sick with stubborn viral AND bacterial bronchitis and not being able to even go for a run for almost two weeks is... discouraging, even though I'm clearly not usually a couch potato.

At least I have meds now 🤷🏻‍♂️

Breezy Johnson, a U.S. skier and gold medalist, got engaged after the super-G event.

Her fiancé prepared for the proposal for almost a year — in part because Johnson had told him she had a dream of getting engaged at the Olympics. https://wapo.st/3MGQDXp

I'm gonna say it.

The drone chase-cam is obnoxious for most Olympic sports, and I can't imagine it's safe for the athletes, both by distraction, and close calls I've seen in every event almost hitting athletes or courseworkers.

Just stick to the standard camera ops; it's otherwise world class.

Well there goes the *Super Bowl without any touchdowns* record.

No Super Bowl has ever been won entirely on field goals.
No Super Bowl has ever been a shutout.

Reminder that Spanish is the most common non-English US language, and Americans speak every language on the globe; that's what makes America America. If someone speaking a language other than English bothers you, you've failed the American experiment.

Our differences are what gives us strength.

I've been a fan of Vonn for a long, long time.

If you're procrastinating working out, here's one less excuse. Short gym sessions can be enough to build meaningful strength — as long as you push yourself while you're there.

Wars have started over less. This was an attempted international incursion, and bonafide international incident. US warrants don't apply on foreign soil (which a consulate is; they are part of their overarching embassy); you can't just "get a warrant" to invade another sovereign country's territory.
