A great irony re: immigration in America that nobody talks about: for a country to survive, you need a birth rate of 2.1. America = 1.66. If we don't welcome immigrants, America will cease to exist in about 100 years no matter what else we do. The population bottleneck will hit us like a Mack truck.

It's pretty funny that everyone is calling Trump incompetent for getting us close to a recession. The wealthy WANT a recession. Stocks go in the toilet, they buy low, consolidate their wealth, and trash pensions. If you're Trump, what's not to like?

Remember: Republicans do not want an educated populace. Educated Americans are difficult to control and trend significantly towards voting left. For their own survival, they will destroy education at every opportunity they get.
