Trump is actually a very efficient President. He sits at a desk, spends ten minutes signing orders to fuck up this and fuck up that, and then flies off to Florida to play golf. Other, less efficient, Presidents wasted time by thinking about what they did.

I grew up on Social Security. My widowed mom, who left school at thirteen to help her family, raised three young kids and cared for my grandpa on our SS survivors' benefit and grandpa's 40$ a month.
We didn't have much, but the certainty of those payments gave us a life.
Why fuck that up?

This adds context to the GOP push to wreck public education, and to their efforts to demean the value of higher education. A huge pool of 'Christianized' poorly educated adults will be even more susceptible to propaganda and will willingly vote for authoritarians.

SCOTUS is the last bulwark between democracy and autocracy. Two of the demented six right wing judges have to act responsibly for that to happen. Will Roberts realize his rulings have destroyed America? Slim chance. Kavanaugh, too weak. ACB, Gorsuch, perhaps. Thomas, Alito, no chance.
