A rare bit of good news on a Monday morning.
Is Trump winning or losing his war on offshore wind power?
The US president tried to kill offshore wind projects – now four are back under construction

Thank you senator Baldwin. As a former federal employee I hate to see a government shutdown but shutting down funding for ICE is so important.

Heartbreaking. Horrible. Shameful. That people paid by our taxpayer dollars, under the direction of our federal government, are doing this to people in our country.
This video filmed by Ben Luhmann shows the moment a federal agent sprayed chemical irritants directly into a man's face in south Minneapolis.

Three agents already had the man pinned to the ground when a fourth agent walked up and sprayed the irritants.

Protesting fascism on my 66th birthday makes a sound bite on the local news. It was my way to observe the anniversary of what we must acknowledge is a fascist regime. #freeamericawalkout

We just saw this, and it’s a good idea for businesses to post. Private businesses are allowed to set dress and conduct rules. Requiring no full face coverings has long been standard for safety and loss prevention reasons, and it is within a business’s rights to refuse entry or service.

This is emotionally intense and lasts 12 minutes but I still encourage people to watch it.

Margaret Fell was affectionately known as the “mother of Quakerism.” One of the ways she nurtured Friends was through her writings—which, Shulamith Clearbridge suggests, continue to speak directly to our spiritual needs today.

His journal entry of Feb 19 begins, “what we’ve learned in the past weeks is that, yes, we can carry on with our lives during the Trump catastrophe”.

Yes we did learn that. Hopefully many of us are also learning ways to slow down and set the stage for reversing the catastrophe.

If you’re suspected of trafficking a small amount of drugs with no evidence, we will murder you, but if you’re convicted of trafficking an enormous amount of drugs with copious evidence, we will pardon you. Because we are currently a very stupid country.

11/27-12/1, don't shop at Target, Amazon, or Home Depot. Shop local, independent stores instead.

Target caved to Trump’s attacks on DEI. Home Depot colludes with ICE. Amazon funds funding Trump to secure corporate tax cuts.

🔥 Yesterday, a group called "14 Suburban Moms" do a civil disobedience protest by crossing the barricade at Broadview and sitting in a circle. ✊🏼

Watch as they get arrested one by one while protestors shout "Mother Power" and blow whistles the way it's done to warn that someone is being detained‼️
