'Persona 4 Golden'

Finally feel like I've had enough time to breathe after finishing Persona 3. Fun style so far. I like the 3D models. I think Orpheus had a little recognizability (in P3), and Arsene has enough as well (to come in P5). ...

Continuing after the first Z checkpoint.

The previous set of games:
A is for Arcana.

Verdict: 5 - Despite some minor issues, I had a good time with Arcana, even while Notepad-ing maps to keep myself oriented. I think the then-modern technology did the most to hold it back. A little gem I wouldn’t otherwise have come across.

As a long-term project inspired by other people doing similarly, I thought it'd be fun to revisit my childhood a bit and play through a giant pile of SNES games - either beat them or get a good feel about them. I have larger write-ups on a private forum, but I can share the verdicts here.

'Persona 3 Portable'

Finally caught up on some other stuff, so now I finally get to dive into another Persona game. I tried FES way back when, but I have effectively no memory of it, so this may as well be a fresh approach.

A little bittersweet, but this has been such a good week. Overflowing with positivity and good vibes, and it's hard not to be optimistic for the future.

Now, it's time to settle in and enjoy the finale.

Pre-show was great this year as always. "I thought I was your super meat boy," may have been the line of the segment.

That said, I have this weird feeling that in a few years, Sent is going to reveal a decade-long bit of his descent into madness.

'Catherine: Full Body'

Got about an hour or so in at first. I'm a sucker for good style and aesthetic, and the game is definitely that so far. Puzzle sections became more manageable once I learned all the mechanics. Better onboarding would've been nice. Little story so far.
