Hey there hi there ho there - we're doing intros?

I'm Jay. Long ago I was a Jungle Cruise skipper at Disneyland. Today I'm a gamedev at Respawn Entertainment.

I have 3 cats - Togepi, Moo, and Mothman.

My hobbies are various tech-y things, working on my tiki bar, and my N-Scale model railroad!
3 cats watching birds on TV. There is a black cat, a white cat, and a grey cat. All 3 birds are very interested in the television. 2 model railroad tracks traveling on the inside of a temple. There is lava coming up from the ground and a statue with a glowing jewel on top of its head. Me back when I worked as a Jungle Cruise skipper! I'm 6 feet tall, white skin with black hair, and I'm holding a microphone while working at the Jungle Cruise. I was 22 or 23 when this photo was taken. Me laying down stomach-first on a box while dressed in my Jungle Cruise outfit. My glasses are askew. The box says "this end up" and has an arrow pointing upward.

I would like to congratulate Mothman on #KittyOfTheWeek this week!

He picked on his sister a little bit... but he has been very sweet and loving this week.
More notably, he did NOT try to break open the pepper shaker like his brother did and did NOT try to get into the trash can like his sister did

@nickthesick.com - maybe I'm missing something, but one neat feature that could be added to @bookhive.buzz is a "check in" feature where you can "buzz in" with your reading progress on a book and optionally make a post to Bluesky about it (e.g. like @beaconbits.app has)

My favorite(?) Maynard story:
As mentioned, I worked with Maynard a lot; in the summers I'd work with him like 3 times/week at Tiki. Maynard wasn't full-time (on purpose) so he would commonly get the breaker shifts at Tiki, while I would be the opener or closer. We got to know each other fairly well

So I have my email domain set up so I can give unique emails to places whenever they ask for my email. Usually this is so I can see who's selling my data.

Well, I gave one such email to the Los Angeles County Board of Elections. And now I get lovely emails like these in my inbox. So be warned!
