It’s been a banger year for games. But this is the first time I’ve felt overwhelmed by how much there was. So I tried to focus on my backlog a little bit more. And I still had a great time :)

Thinking about all of the games I played this year. I mostly played older games lol. Of course I got new games. E33, MK World, DK Bananza, Kirby Air Riders, etc
But I started this year with Yakuza 0, then I played Link’s Awakening for the first time, now I’m playing Cyberpunk

The game can be fun. But I don’t think I’ve had any “holy shit” moments the same way I do with Guilty Gear, SF6, or Tekken

Marvel Tokon has some really high highs and some really low lows. When I can play against someone like other fighting games, where neutral becomes a mind game, the game is great! But when your opponent gets really mashy, the game gets frustrating because it works really well

Makes sense. Bluesky was just missing a lot of features and made it difficult to keep up with gaming news, which is why I rarely used it. But it seems better now

With the Switch 2, I agree with you in the sense that it hasn’t gotten its “BOTW like” game yet. But the lineup has been good. Not to mention all of the third party games we’ve gotten
