Wednesday was special

Greg graduated from Central School of Speech & Drama, in Writing for Performance

The glitziest Graduation I’ve ever seen - at Royal Festival Hall - and Jason Isaacs received an Honorary Fellowship

Greg received his degree from Matt’s former boss, Professor David Latchman

Loose manhole cover on Allesley Old Road - update

I can report it was fixed on Tuesday night

HUGE THANKS to Severn Trent, the Council’s Highway Department, and Taiwo Owatemi MP, who were able to get this repair expedited for us.

I can confirm you’re all on Santa’s Nice List!

They’ve grown *a bit* over the last 22 years

Currently on the #GraduationRoadTrip to see Greg graduate from Royal Central School of Speech & Drama

Each year I attend the Vigil to Count Dead Women in the City Centre

It’s always poignant

There is a pair of shoes for each woman or girl who has died at the hands of a man in the last year. On the hour, the names of each woman and girl is read out

Congratulations to everyone involved in organising today’s Christmas Fair at St Christopher’s Church

Despite the unco-operative weather, the event was fantastic, and super well attended

I treated myself to a scented candle, and the newest family member to a beautiful hand knitted cardigan 🎄

I’m a feminist

Yet it turns out the 3 people I love most are men. Tackling men’s health and wellbeing 👏👏

If for you, like me, Christmas isn’t Christmas without a real Christmas Tree… Have you tried tree collection and recycling by Pass The Smile and Myton Hospice?

No more pine needles to pick out of the bottom of the car, and you donate to 2 fantastic causes too :

Today marks 85 years since the Coventry Blitz.

Ever fewer city residents remember that terrible night - and the horrific loss of civilian lives. I’m looking forward to remembering the survivors I know, and knew, at this evening’s Commemoration Service in our new Cathedral.

A brilliant - if blustery - session out delivering the latest Whoberley Ward newsletter this morning

9 of us made light work of much of Allesley Park (don’t worry if you haven’t had your leaflet yet - there’s still a few roads left)
