🌊 On this day in 1914, the guns of HMAS Sydney and SMS Emden met off the Cocos (Keeling) Islands in what became the Royal Australian Navy’s first sea battle.

Diagram by Albert M. Barker, drawn from the captains’ original sketches, maps the courses of both ships during the battle.

It is unbelievable how badly trashed the Bureau of Meteorology website is now. You'd be forgiven for thinking it's a conspiracy to advantage private apps to use free govt info from BOM to package forecasts, radar, warnings so it's well-designed & accessible - for profit - like they do in the US.
The BOM have destroyed their website - no current observations by weather station available anymore for example. Royal Commission now. I want people sacked.

It looks like Nepal is getting someone in the kitchen who knows how to cook up democracy. America you might want to look into this approach. Oh yeah that's right you hate women in positions of power trying to fix things and bring equality to everyone. That's a shame that we can't have nice things

The pact 'to help counter China ambitions in the Asia Pacific'.

Meanwhile China doesn't need to go to war it just needs to turn the trade tap off and the Australian economy will tank like it's never tanked before.

The majority of the world's solar panels in use today were invented/ refined technically in Australia. The inventors were denied assistance by the Gov of the day (Howard), for manufacturing, marketing and ongoing research so they packed up and went to China.

The rest is history.

Quote from latest GameRant article announcing Remake coming release.

"it's always possible this information is inaccurate, and so fans should take any claims about the Oblivion remake with a grain of salt until Xbox itself confirms that it's in development."

in development is not release.

I've been on the Tamriel Rebuilt (Morrowind) team as a cell designer, scripter and beta tester for over 15yrs.
Of the many mod creators working on the project, also with experience in modding Oblivion/Skyrim, most are convinced that Oblivion "Remake" is nothing but click bait.
