at a certain point after the war, adora realizes she’s never seen catra so happy before, and it makes her fall in love over and over again

adora’s cheek rests on her hand as she watches catra talk to glimmer on the other side of the room, all wearing royal outfits. her inner monologue says, “i’ve noticed something lately. i’ve loved catra my entire life, of course, but….” zoom in to catra smiling, “there’s something about seeing her like this… she’s so smart, and confident, and funny, and…. happy.” adora’s face has the biggest lovestruck look on it and she’s surrounded by hearts as she concludes, “gosh, i really, really love her.” catra notices adora and turns to ask her something but freezes, blushing, as she sees the look on her face. catra has sauntered over to lean on the armchair adora is sitting in. she’s smiling cheekily and saying, “whoa, is someone trying to get kissed over here?” adora, still smiling at her, answers, “mmhm, always.” their noses squish together kind of cutely as they try to kiss around their big dumb smiles
