I’m liking drawing smaller, it’s less intense. I’m trying to draw places that mean a lot to me, this is my grandparents house in the beach. #watercolor #urbansketching #ink

This is the last piece of wood I have to carve and I try to do something a bit more difficult. I obviously broke one of off the links. You can see the one that cracked in the third photo. #woodcarving

Some time ago I shared fountain pens I love and used a lot, but today I wanted to shoe what is on my desk every day. #pilot custom 823, my grail pen that I bought this year. #lamy 2000, my first gold nib pen. #platinum 3776, the gift my wife gave my for our wedding. The sleeve I made. #fountainpens

I’m still not convinced with the Caran D’ache neo color 2. I think it’s its because the lines they make reminds me of when I tried to draw when I was little. Never like the textures xD. I started with the color the time. #watercolor #urbansketch #neocolor

Two places in Vancouver that I remember fondly. The first one is the entrance to where I had to study so I could get a workers permit, in gastown. The second one is where I worked, specifically in A Bread Affair. The plan was to go back but life got in the way. #watercolor #urbansketch

I’ve been thinking about wood carving for a long time. I had to stop doing it because I don’t have the space, but this weekend I made a mess in my desk and carved a wood link. Love to do this type of projects. It’s made out of one block. #woodcarving

Make a fast loose sketch and finish it without erasing, without much thought.
Sometimes we feel nostalgia because we know we could overcame those circumstances.

The last couple of days have been productive.
The sketch another version of an old sketch of my family’s house at the beach.
The wooden ring chain was carved the last two days.

It took me too long to finish this. This is the last page of my first A3 block of paper. I’m glad I finished but I’m not looking forward to the first drawing in a sketchbook. #urbansketching #watercolor #ink

I was dreading starting a sketchbook and I realized I talk about this with a patient some time ago and told them “just start, make mistakes, intend it not to be perfect, and because that’s the task, it will be easier”. I took my own advice. #watercolor #sketchbook #urbansketching

Some days ago in a replay someone was curious of my fountain pens. These are the three entry pens I can recommend to almost anyone. No they are not perfect but for a first option they are great.

About a year ago I started painting with #watercolors and did my first #urbansketching. From the start I wanted to draw my childhood home, all I have is some shots from Google street view. The first image was my first try, a year ago. The second one I did yesterday. I’m happy I could do better.

I wanted a passport size travelers notebook but I didn’t have the cash. With the help of my father treating a piece of split leather, that is a byproduct of the leather he uses to book bind, I made this. The inserts are original and the elastic is from the repairing kit. #travelersnotebook #diy

Learning the difference in watercolor papers, this is the travelers notebook. This is what I use for my drawings. Pentel medium water brush. A platinum preppy with Platinum carbon black ink. White Sakura Gelly roll. A .5 Pentel mechanical pencil. The watercolor is the Winsor & Newton Cotman 20 set.
