I've never been to a Disney park and don't have much interest in going, but this documentary about the construction of Disneyland, made entirely with rare archival footage, gave me goosebumps.

Ah yes, the early days of computing! I love this 100% accurate representation of what it felt like to use a PC in those days, which I just saw in a commercial for a financial data platform that I’m sure is 100% equally trustworthy!

It should be illegal to have more than two bad things happen in one week. And even that already feels like a lot.

Por si tenéis un rato para leer la entrevista que le hice a Aga de los Santos de Wagamama, una librería que ha montado en su propia habitación y que tuve la suerte de visitar en enero.

I was intrigued by how moltbook prevented humans from posting and role-playing as an AI… it turns out they don’t. Anyone with basic terminal knowledge and an account on X can register on the forum and cause havoc: moltbook.com/skill.md

One of the coolest projects online is this page dedicated to preserving and cataloguing vintage films of printing technologies and processes: printingfilms.com

This free tool for color separation, imposition, and ink management for RISO prints looks fantastic. It can even help you create animated risographs.

I love terminals and using Vim to update my Jekyll blog, but having to create new files or edit the front matter every time I want to track what I'm reading isn't ideal, so I wrote a command-line tool to make updating my reading list at javier.computer/books super easy.

There's a mandatory session at work called 'Developing a Challenger Mindset.' I'm skipping it and going for a walk instead, demonstrating that I've already mastered the material.

He empezado un pequeño espacio online, a veces presencial, de publicación de fanzines, actividades, venta de libros y curiosidades. Digo que «a veces presencial» porque un par de veces al mes estaré en la trastienda de la librería Terranova de Barcelona con mis cosas.

I've been using linkding.link to manage my links for almost a week, and I couldn't be happier. It's a self-hosted solution with the simplicity of Pinboard, a more modern design, and none of its founder's transphobia.

Happily using Affinity to lay out a zine, but squinting during the online license check because I’m very skeptical this app will be free forever.

Photos from the first photowalk of the year in Premià de Mar, where I accidentally discovered that there’s a theatre play about Our Lord, Saint Luigi Mangione.
