EOD update:
reetsawhney.com - not bad for a few hours of work.

Ok so how we are achieving todays milestone of the CV website:
0. Take time to describe the project.
1. Find reference on awwwards.com
2. Take a screenshot and give it to claude to use as a stsrting point.
3. Give CV PDF for content.
4. Keep prompting for changes until you're happy with the result.

When uploading her PDF resume, Claude realised it couldn't directly process PDFs. It asked her to paste the pdf in the directory, then wrote a python script to interpret the PDF then ran that script and got the content. This is really next level.

Ok. Trae is not as free as can be. After a bunch of requests, she has been put on a queue. Of 149!

Woman works as a creative writer at an ad agency. Never seen her write anything this furiously.

Not telling her, but I have my money on this full portfolio website being under construction indefinitely.

I am seriously happy with this new direction to be honest. Lesson for all the builders out here:
1. Launch MVP asap.
2. Validate idea.
3. Keep working on that feature list.

Updated objective for today: get a CV website up today. Keep working on portfolio website and get that up in a couple of weeks.

Even an AI can't satisfy that over-perfectionist in you.

She has since realized that creating a full portfolio is more work than she wants to do today. Fair call. This will take more than a week.

Initial problems we keep running into with this approach:

Claude 3.7 is so trigger happy and ready to code. Seems like the "envelope" prompt that Trae gives it is to be a coder. Keep having to revert the code it writes.

The approach here, which I believe is the best approach with any AI-driven tech project is to first lay out a plan. She is currently just spending 30mins talking to the AI.

Currently just having a back and forth with it about the tone and the references.

Weekend project: girlfriend needs a portfolio website. Doesn't want my help exactly to do this.

Compromise: teaching her to vibe code her way into a decent enough website.

Another weekend. Another sprint to finish an app in 48 hours.

The speed AI assistance has added to my workflow is unreal.
