I wanna see that kinda energy and commitment, but used to flag games made with genAI on steam.

Give me a team of people dedicated to leaving bad reviews on steam for games that use genAI in any capacity.

Twitch is officially releasing age verification in the UK.

Users will need to verify their age using an in-app facial scan; otherwise, they will lose access to watching mature content based on Content Classification Labels (CCLs).

I don’t even know what genre Ark Raiders is. I’ve never bothered to watch any gameplay of it. I honestly have no clue what even the promo art looks like.

But I’m aware they used AI for voice work and probably other shit and that’s all I need to know to never think about it again.

Whatever production time and cost was "saved" by using AI for one of the most human-dependent disciplines in game making was actively obliterated by the act itself, overshadowing the hard work of every single other developer on the project and making this situation impossible to right. WHO KNEW.
