Candidate for Attorney General of Rhode Island. Father, husband, Navy submarine veteran, criminal defense lawyer, and former state prosecutor.
After years of DOT mismanagement, squandered resources, lack of transparency and unresponsiveness to the public interest, Rhode Island deserves real accountability. Alviti's resignation today is a step in the right direction. Now we need a total restructuring of the DOT. www.wpri.com/news/politic...

Congratulations are in order to Michael Correia, the new President of the Rhode Island Police Chiefs Association, who will bring to all of Rhode Island the great leadership he models as Barrington's Chief of Police. We're lucky to have him!

This article from the Globe highlights our ongoing push to make data on traffic accidents available to the public. It's part of making our communities safer and ensuring people get the transparency they deserve from our government. We're standing up for Rhode Islanders. buff.ly/TPKm9yx

The House adjourned this evening in honor of Alex Pretti, the ICU nurse killed by federal agents last weekend. In addition to my resolution condemning ICE's unconstitutional tactics, my colleagues and I are working to introduce laws to protect Rhode Islanders from ICE's thuggish abuse of power.

Really good to spend some time with the Unitarian Legislative Ministry of RI last night to talk about how RI can protect our neighbors from ICE's unconstitutional and dangerous tactics. The GA can and should step up here.

I am thankful for the teachings of MLK and the example he set for us during his life. He shows us the path to our better selves. All we need to do is follow it.

I'm astounded that the feds are balking at paying for food for hungry families, elders, and kids. I'm grateful to the AG's who are fighting in court to free up this money. I hope the appeals court acts ASAP. This is not complicated. Use the money you already have and follow the law: FEED THE PEOPLE!

Went on Channel 10 News Conference with Gene Valicenti yesterday. Appreciate the opportunity to talk about the AG's race, my record of service, and delivering results for Rhode Island.

Last weekend we had the Warren Walkabout on a beautiful day. Very grateful to the RI Secretary of State who brought one of our copies of the Declaration of Independence for everyone to see. The Declaration of is cool but the letter from John Quincy Adams that came with it is pretty awesome too.
