Currently working on a #towerdefense game for the #playdate
I’ve been doing some profiling and optimization for the last few weeks. Result is that I can handle about 70 enemies on screen at the same time while staying above 30fps. I think that’ll work. #playdate #indiedev

Back to work after the holiday. I've added a new Disruptor assembly to my #towerdefense game for the #playdate. Units within range take more damage from other sources. I also got to play with procedural generation of the cloud effect #pixelArt #indiedev

I wanted the maps for my #playdate #towerdefense game to be a bit more interesting, so I added some large machines and background noise. The machines also limit where you can place turrets, so they're part of the game mechanics too. #pixelart #indiedev
