i get a bit bummed that all the site formats on squarespace more or less feel the same, with the big banner space frontloaded to hold a 4k picture, and the little pockets of text below

i feel like suspension of disbelief isn’t just a response to story, but a response to design in general.
if you take an animation made up of ten drawings, and switch one drawing with a traced copy, then i’d say that the animation as a whole has changed into a fundamentally different experience.
