@georgetakei.bsky.social Our community has experienced huge losses the past 2 weeks. A farmer, a police officer, and a 14 year old kid. The police officer was an SRO a couple years ago. We want to give holiday food bags to those in need. Could you RP? www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/...

@bonhanson.bsky.social March 14th our town was hit by a tornado; 2nd one in less than a year. March 19th one of our elementaries caught on fire. We desperately need 50 hams to include in food bags for our students in need. Could you RP? Thank you! www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/... #clearthelist

My stepmom asked me to fix her phone because stuff was rearranged, missing, etc. I started working on it & discovered she had 265 tabs open on Chrome. I’d never seen anything like it before! And don’t get me started on her email. Bless all IT staff, I don’t know how you do it!

I think my cat had a rough Monday.

He was an orphan saved from a life of poverty as an abandoned kitten. Now he lives a pampered house cat life. Love this fluff muffin.

There is a special place in heaven for the person who created slow cooker liners. I don’t know who you are, but know that you are my favorite person today.

He was an orphan saved from a life of poverty. Now, my mom gives him Christmas presents, he expects treats daily, and he rests on comfy blankets.

I just bought two dozen eggs at Sam’s Club. You better believe I put them in the front floorboard and put my coat around the carton so it didn’t slide around. You have to protect costly investments.

Happy Monday from my fluff muffin!

I opened the blinds so I could watch it snow. My buddy hopped up in the window and is watching it more intently than Jim Cantore watches an exciting weather event.

How we party in this house after a busy school day. Comfy blanket and a cat on my lap. Great way to relax.

Went into school today & I was the only one there when I arrived. A voice started talking to me through the intercom, saying things like, “Are you there? Answer me. Where are you?” The building makes creepy noises when you’re there by yourself, but the intercom guys got me today!

I complimented the photocopier this afternoon and told it what a “good job” it had done photocopying a large amount of stuff. I think it’s safe to say that I’m ready for Christmas break since I’m complimenting the photocopier.

When the sun moves, the cat moves to make sure he makes the most of the warmth he gets while basking in the sunshine.

Had a surprise visitor in my classroom today. One of my all-time favorite colleagues who retired a couple of years ago dropped in to visit. He’s old enough to be my dad; in fact, he & my dad have the same first name. Just a moment of his encouragement and positivity made my day!

Student asked me when Shop With a Hero is so he can get his family gifts & food. We don’t know if he will be picked to go. Help us get items we can send home in his holiday bag so they will have a good break even if he doesn’t get picked. www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/...

Today’s head shake. Had to go into Walmart to get a $7.96 flashlight. They had them locked up, but they had bows & arrows that cost $296.00 right out in the open. Guy in the wildlife & sporting section had to get me a flashlight, but I could’ve got a bow and arrow without help. 🤷‍♀️

Had a great time visiting my family for Thanksgiving, but there is something so nice about being in your own home, where you know where everything is and in your own routine. It’s good to be back home.

We read an article that mentioned fax machines. Kid asked what they were; I explained. They looked confused so I had to explain that PDFing a signed document and emailing it is a much newer thing. If you’ve ever used a fax machine, welcome to the club. My class thinks we’re old.
