The news drew ire from members of Congress. New Jersey Democratic Sen. Andy Kim said for weeks Trump officials briefed Congress that the boat strikes were not “about regime change.” “I didn’t trust them then and we see now that they blatantly lied to Congress,” Kim wrote on social media.

Trump will speak at 11 am Eastern from Mar-a-Lago, according to the pool report. There has been no White House communication otherwise so far about the strike on Venezuela. Everything has been posted on TruthSocial or x.
