Unsolicited writing advice, no: 1.
Love what you do. Nurture it; give it the time it needs to grow. Don't force it to be something it doesn't want to be. Don't compare it with its siblings. Feed it what it most needs. Don't lose the joy in your writing. Because if you don't love it, who else will?

A wet day in Ilkley, but great to see my lovely friend’s brand new book on the shelf @MaraTimon A copy may have slipped into my bag!
My local bookshop @GroveBookshop do an incredible job of stocking, and changing their shelves for us readers. 👏🏼

Wow, Trevor Wood. The characters, setting and true to life realities are gripping. I loved it and it deserves all the praise it is being awarded. Thanks to @interviewroomone for the competition in which I won it. This is one book well worth reading and one I won’t forget in a hurry. X

Hi folks. There is a fake account on here pretending to be me - cjttudor@bsky.social. Looks just like my account but there's an extra 't' in the name. I've reported it. Just double check who you're following! Thanks. xx

Another fake account is impersonating me! This time with two ‘r’s’. They’re trying to get you to take part in a survey to win the books. Don’t fall for it!

Not book related, but I’ve known this incredible young woman since she was 5 years old. She played rugby with my son in the juniors, my husband was their coach. Now playing for England, she’s only gone and won Women’s Rugby Player of the Year. Very proud of her. 🥰

Thought I'd do a thread on writing tips that I might add to from time to time...
1) I've cited this one before on the other place... A description of a person or a place should tell you as much about the person doing the describing as the person or place being described. Examples below.
