I’ve been privileged for the last two nights to play at the annual York Minster Christmas concerts. Colleagues from RRF (Lancs) Band were supporting Yorkshire Volunteer Regiment. Packed house each night. The choir were phenomenal. Such an amazing experience, thanks everyone.

I have listened to much of the assisted dying debate in parliament today. Regardless of views on the proposal, it has been heart warming to see parliament acting in such a positive manner: compassionate, respectful, open, informed, listening.
Please can we have more debates in this manner.
