TIL the Iron Knuckles from ‘Ocarina of Time’ are Gerudo warriors (I didn’t get far enough in the game to find out for myself) and props for having a female character wearing heavy armor that is not sexualized at all in a game from 1998.

The KidPix browser app kinda kicks ass.
I think it was Jacob on Drawfee who described using it as being like “digital analogue” in a weird way and…I see it.
Also I second his opinion that it has better halftones than like 90% of art programs (with the exception of IbisPaint)

My therapist and I agreed that reading comics counts as work if I take notes.

Stylistic evolution is a funny thing. “Baby Blues” has Wanda maintain her “welded eye” look from the original comics, so she looks kinda alien next to the show-original characters, who with rare exception are drawn with discreet eyes.

Libraries are really undersold these days.
I kind of expected my local library to be a ghost town, if not outright closed down. (The exterior is a little shabby)

Maybe if I keep doing style master studies I’ll eventually feel ready to actually start making my own content again.
