If you have a Switch and want to learn console game dev I 💯% recommend Game Maker Garage
It gives a thorough tutorial on the basics of visual programming (no coding required) and is great for rapid prototyping
I’d argue there are benefits even to its limitations (ITO ecosystem, art prod, etc)

If you have a Switch and want to learn console game dev I 💯% recommend Game Maker Garage
It gives a thorough tutorial on the basics of visual programming (no coding required) and is great for rapid prototyping

Most personal evidence that the media landscape is oversaturated is that my YT “Watch Later” list consistently accrues content faster than I can view it, despite the fact that it’s my primary source of entertainment.
Am I gonna have to add going through it to my ever-ballooning list of CHORES??

Valence doesn’t unwrap UVs, as far as I can tell, so it’s hard to tell how the geometry with respond to texturing.

Tfw you’re in “try making animated shorts” mode and have an idea for one but realize it would be faster to make it as a comic but don’t feel like drawing so you’re caught between one that’s a more realistic task vs one that’s actually inflaming passion but for who knows how long
