This was fun to make for Scottish Water, using drones to disperse tree seeds across areas of difficult terrain around Talla Reservoir, Scottish Borders.
The area is fenced off to protect seeds from grazing sheep and deer. Woodlands stabilise land & less organic matter entering the water source.

I’m sad to hear the news that the wonderful Jane Goodall is no longer in the world. Her work with chimpanzees at Gombe in Tanzania taught us to look at other apes - and ourselves - differently. I was privileged to meet her later in life and tell her what an inspiration she was to me.

The critically endangered European eel has finally returned to the upper levels of the River Annan, Scotland, for the first time in 75 years, thanks to an eel pass installed three years ago by Scottish Water. 🥳🎉
Baby eels, elvers, are now in the upper reaches of the river. An ecological success!
