"I never signed up for this list" being a reason for opting out should penalize the mailing list owner if enough people unsubscribe with that reasson. I don't think most mailing list providers care, though, unfortunately.

The fact that you can't report an account for impersonating a celebrity on @threads if the celebrity isn't on Threads is a shame. There's a lot of fake accounts of folks who aren't on this platform, but there's nothing we can do because we can't report them.

If a book has characters or locations with names I can’t figure out how to pronounce, I have a hard time getting through it. If it’s slowing down my reading to sound out your characters name every time, I’m likely skipping the character’s name and calling him/her something simple in my head.

Family movie today was Noelle, starring the adorable Anna Kendrick. Neither my wife or I had seen it, and obviously our 8 year old hadn’t, either.
It was so cure. Such a feel good, happy, Christmas tale. I really enjoyed it!

Anyone know of an app (preferrably macOS or iOS) that'll take a full-length video and turn it into a series of reels automatically? I don't care if it's AI-powered, but preferrably not something that's a zillion dollars a day to use.

Bought Vellum on November 4th. Emailed them to ask if they'd honor the 30% off for Cyber Monday. They just emailed me back, honored the price, and refunded me the $80 different between what I paid and the current sale price.
