While the exit polls show a marginal lead (0,6%) for Trzaskowski, we should not treat them as final results yet.
Past elections show the right tends to overperform compared to the exit polls. In 2020, Trzaskowski lost 0,6% and in 2023, PiS gained 1,9% between the exit polls and the final results.

Voor NU.nl heb ik wat duiding mogen geven omtrent de Poolse presidentsverkiezingen. De tweede, beslissende ronde vindt zondag 1 juni plaats, en is van groot belang voor zowel Polen als de rest van Europa.
