Global health is a field that on the one hand says it's evidence based but on the other that it won't fund diabetes because it isn't "sexy" - as if a health condition should physically attractive to get the resources it needs.

Have diabetes and ever been in one? Anything you want to share? I've been in earthquake. left the flat in a hurry with all my insulin. Luckily the building stayed up but otherwise I'd been cooked.
