Hard truth:
Some friendships only exist because you keep pushing them forward.
The moment you step back, they dissolve.
I wrote about what happens when you stop being the engine.

Builders and Spectators
A few days ago I caught myself staring at my phone after sending yet another message that started with “So, who’s in?”. It wasn’t a dramatic moment. No one had rejected anything. No one had said no. The message just floated there, quietly aging. And I suddenly realized

Browsing social media this morning (I know, I know, not good for me), I found a thread of people arguing about tipping 20%, and honestly, I don’t buy it.

This has been sitting in my head for a while.

Why it feels like no matter how hard you work, you’re just paying more to stay in place. Turns out it’s not random.

Wrote about it here:

End User is Dead
Something is deeply off, and it’s bigger than tech prices or another “everything got expensive” rant. What we’re watching right now is a shift in how the world is priced and who it’s priced for. If you feel like no matter how hard you work you’re

After trying Omarchy on my secondary laptop, I’m hooked on the upgraded i3-style tiling, the genuinely great theming, and the ridiculously simple configs. Now I want my Windows machine to feel the same. What are my best options? GlazeWM?

I like selling things that still work but don’t fit my life anymore. Clothes on Vinted. Tech on OLX. I sold my old laptop after upgrading. Same with my headphones when I moved to Momentum 4. It feels better than letting good stuff rot in a drawer.

Today I spent some time changing my go-to VPN provider.
My inbox has been filling up lately with those familiar emails from subscription services. Renewals coming up. Adobe. Bitwarden. ChatGPT and so on. Among them, NordVPN.

I’m getting tired of this pattern. Another product I was interested in is now available at an all-time low price. The thing is, Black Friday was just two weeks ago. So what gives? What happened to the biggest sale event of the year?

I developed an elaborate Obsidian note-taking system, obsessing over its design and syncing it across devices. However, there's a problem: I've never been an organized note-taker, and now my system feels overly complex. It's as if it has lost its purpose.

Over the past few months, I've delved into using n8n to automate social media posts and email outreach. It's been an enlightening journey, particularly when analyzing what makes your writing uniquely yours. However, it also confronts you with a harsh reality...

I woke up to a notification from a popular online store. The product I was interested in is now somewhat less expensive. Interesting, I thought, tapping the icon. My heart stopped. How much?!

SEO is making it harder to find specific information. I understand the focus on discoverability and CTRs, but a Google Maps search for "medical diagnostic lab near me" shouldn't return pubs and hairdressers just because they use "lab" in their SEO texts.

Fall from grace of my favorite AI.
Just weeks ago, Perplexity.ai was my AI of choice. The Pro tier impressed me for months with its diverse models, precise answers, and solid research capabilities. It was my reliable ally, until something took a turn for worse.

The release of Veo3 generative video AI is truly something else. I can't wait to see it explored in high-profile productions. It feels like many obstacles vanish, leaving only the idea and execution.

I replaced the official messenger app with Beeper and was enjoying it until today. My messenger app unexpectedly logged me out, leaving me without access for hours. The reason? Suspected automated behavior.
What gives?

I'm in this strange tech zone where daylight saving time started yesterday, and I didn't realize it until someone mentioned it. All my devices quietly switched to DST overnight, and I didn't notice a thing.

I spent some time with friends in Lower Tatras in Slovakia last week and honestly it was just what I needed.

Some of my friends still use Messenger, my work colleagues prefer WhatsApp, my family is on Telegram, and my close friends have switched to Signal. Over the last few months, I've been searching for one app to unify them all.
This opened an interesting rabbit hole for me:

So yeah, a relatively new platform, influx of new users and an interesting mechanics of the algorithm. A lot of choice to be made.
Let me help you decide. Here's a glimpse of my type of content:
