This country is committing countless human rights violations at Trump’s direction. There will be an accounting.
It’s such a hard choice, but, this has to be my fav highlight of Bad Bunny’s halftime show. He powerfully showcased the breadth and beauty of Latino culture and all that it has given America, while reminding us of how much America has lost its way.

All other governors should boycott the dinner. If state’s rights means anything against a tyrannical federal govt that has been overtaken by lawless and corrupt agents of Trump, no governor should sit down while another is being punished for standing up.

Dismantling ICE, which has been co-opted and weaponized beyond reform, does not mean that immigration laws cannot be enforced or that they cannot be strengthened and improved. It simply means that the Trump-directed terrorist army that is ICE will cease to use taxpayer $ to violate the Constitution.
The Trump administration's immigration efforts have led some Democrats to call for abolishing ICE. Others won't go as far, wary of appearing out of step with voters who want immigration laws enforced.
