my neighbors have a kid’s chalkboard easel w/ messages to the neighborhood. 70% of the time it’s related to weather or Seattle sports teams. Today it read, “don’t forget the orphan, the widow, the foreigner & the poor”. they gave me some homemade hot fudge & then we hugged and both cried a little.
