New car doesn't come with a tow hitch but i found a spare part dealer in China who is selling me a custom one off assembly made to my specs at no extra cost. Try that with a Euro car part dealer, they would laugh in your face.

A modern EV will never need a new battery during its lifetime but it's cool to see those old Nissan Leafs getting a battery swapped and 545km claimed new range. Would love to do that with an original BMW i3.

This is biased towards Bangkok and not all of Thailand but the trend is obvious.

So BYD's "trick" to get to 5 min charging is to split the whole battery pack in two with two seperate chargers but they still need their cells to be 10c. Or what am i missing?

Two things i didn't see coming in the Thai EV space:
1) huge success of EV MPVs, Denda D9 even outsold the Toyota Alphard of a bit
2) almost zero interest in EV pickup trucks. Geely has issue to sell any decent numbers eben though they are priced really agressively
