Youtube is now just immediately showing me a Short when I open the app. Horrible stuff. Just give us two different apps at this point, one for Youtube and one for Shorts.

I'm finding out that you can only do ambitious Youtube stuff when you're both financially stable *and* jobless lol. I have a huge project that would need ~3 weeks *if* I didn't have a job. At the same time I can't afford to take a month off bc even w/ 1mil views, revenue would be below minimum wage

Half a year ago I got 6 months Youtube Premium as a creator present or sth. It now expired and my god is it an awful platform. I knew ads in and before videos, but now they have ads acting as videos on the very top of the frontpage?

Watched a guy on Youtube who, before he started his (really good) video, did a 10min bible reading session. I have nothing but respect for that kind of conviction and maybe I too should do a 10min Marx session before every video or stream.
