Finding peace

Word of this morning is ‘procaffeinate’: to put everything on hold until you’ve had sufficient amounts of coffee.

It was a beautiful chilly morning at the Ithaca Farmers Market. So many things are just better in New York like layers, warming your hands with a hot coffee mug in the morning, soup, cast iron stoves, fresh crisp apples, cute hats, alpaca socks, and long drives on country roads.

Preparing for hibernation in Central New York. We have now been here for three and a half months. I can’t find good German food but the scenery is stunning!
