I don’t think red note is going to be a good replacement for TikTok because I am not interested in watching anything by any Americans. I am watching Chinese food videos and traditional Chinese dance and music and clothing and lots and lots of sweet Chinese babies. ❤️❤️❤️

This picture showed up on my photo icon on my phone today. July 21st. The day we rolled out of Texas and left everything we had ever known with 3 kids 2 pets and everything we owned. The same sun rises over New York but it’s less painful here

Word of this morning is ‘procaffeinate’: to put everything on hold until you’ve had sufficient amounts of coffee.

It was a beautiful chilly morning at the Ithaca Farmers Market. So many things are just better in New York like layers, warming your hands with a hot coffee mug in the morning, soup, cast iron stoves, fresh crisp apples, cute hats, alpaca socks, and long drives on country roads.

Preparing for hibernation in Central New York. We have now been here for three and a half months. I can’t find good German food but the scenery is stunning!
