By the end of things Friends With Death nearly cracked the top ten in satire and horror comedy, the only genres I really care about so I am pretty chuffed with that! Also 33 in British Horror Fiction is nothing to sniff at!🙌🥳 #authorsky

Sometimes book repair can be tedious, or satisfying depending on your disposition.
Lots of books from the 70s-80s have this "perfect binding" paste which by now has become like a brittle clay & needs to be removed before the spine can be reaffixed. Listening to an audiobook at the same time helps!📚😄

Of all the things I found questionable about the Stranger Things finale, the biggest oddity is the relegation of Max to the "ginger control centre" where she barely got to do anything to contribute to the final battle despite being one of the people most harmed by Vecna & the Mindflayer. #tvsky

Somehow the robins have found out where I work and are demanding feeding! Plus I just saw this magpie struggle to and then finally secure a berry from the bush outside, well done big guy!👍

After a treacherous icy walk into the library, I found all this mystery stuff on my desk.
I think one is a pile of difficult queries someone wanted me to decide whether to keep or not (I am the bookish grim reaper after all💀), & the other is an offering in thanks for the service maybe.🤔

Good day everyone! I've been busy catching up on post-christmas chores today to get my place back in order. Flashback to happier times of desserts and sweets of the holiday season, although iit also feels good to move around again and not be so stuffed full of sugar and cream all the time!😄

The Holdovers (2023) Review:
Decent story with a lot of mood. I zoned out quite a lot since it feels pretty repetitive.
If you don't find yourself sympathizing with the cast then it will come across as one of those "can't people just learn to understand each other more?!" Films.

Decent story with a lot of mood. I zoned out quite a lot since it feels pretty repetitive.

Fallout episode 2 felt like it was doing a lot of heavy lifting to get the plot for the season in place. Not the worst thing & I'm glad the Brotherhood got featured this time, but I get why they didn't put most of this stuff in the 1st episode. At least we got to see some Radscorpions though! #TVsky
